What SEnergy IoT is
SEnergy IoT is a general-purpose industrial IoT platform that replaces the three stacks every industrial plant, data centre, and large building still runs on: PLC-based SCADA, DDC-based IBMS, and legacy DCIM. One IoT gateway covers all three. The software ships as both cloud and on-premise — the customer picks. Field devices (energy meters, water meters, BTU meters, gas meters, temperature / pressure / level / rpm / counter / timer sensors, weighing scales, serial-to-ethernet converters) come from third-party OEMs chosen for the customer's budget and brand preference. SEnergy IoT Pvt Ltd is the OEM for the gateway and the software; the integration layer is the product.
What stacks SEnergy IoT replaces
- SCADA replacement — IoT gateway in place of PLC; SEnergy cloud/on-prem in place of legacy SCADA software. Shipped on wind-pooling substations, utility-scale solar, and multi-line steel plants in the GCC.
- IBMS replacement — IoT gateway in place of DDC controllers; SEnergy cloud/on-prem in place of Niagara and other legacy IBMS software.
- DCIM — currently deployed as the DCIM-of-record in 7 UAE data centres. Scope spans incoming power transformer → diesel genset → LT panels → MDBs → SDBs → branch circuits → smart PDUs → fire alarm control panels → fire pumps → flood detection → lighting DB controls → chiller + AHU → VRF outdoor + indoor.
- Electrical panel monitoring — power quality, overload, demand management across factory facilities.
- Green-building certification — LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, USGBC, EDGE evidence trails covering energy, water, air quality, and demand from a single integrated system.
The disease SEnergy IoT cures
Every legacy automation vendor suffers the same disease. A field device reaches end-of-life. The replacement device doesn't speak to the existing controller. The customer replaces the controller — and nothing underneath it works anymore. The vendor's reprieve: "end of life." To avoid the CAPEX hit, the customer makes that part of the production line manually monitored, then sometimes manually controlled. Pay the exorbitant visit charges and hotel stays for the vendor's SCADA engineers while you're at it. Entire production lines, malls, and IT offices go back to manual before anyone notices.
SEnergy IoT cures that cancer. Our warranty is a functionality warranty. Our AMC is a functionality AMC. Product end-of-life does not matter — automation keeps running regardless of which field device, controller, or software vendor has retired its hardware.
What else is in the box
- Rich analytics with user-configurable alerts — the thing legacy SCADA and IBMS forgot to ship. Thresholds, trends, anomalies, phase-imbalance detection, dead-time analysis, duty-cycle tracking.
- Ticketing-system integration — alerts fire tickets into the customer's existing ITSM (ServiceNow, Freshservice, custom), closing the operational loop.
- Production integration — rationalise production and rejection quantity against energy, water, and gas usage. Isolate efficient vs inefficient machines, workers, and workflows. Find root causes before they show up on the quality or rejection report.
- Audit-ready reports — ISO 50001, LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, USGBC, EDGE straight out of the box.
- Deployment flexibility — same stack ships as cloud or on-premise. The customer's compliance posture decides.

Who builds SEnergy IoT
The platform is built and operated by SEnergy IoT Pvt Ltd, a private limited company registered in India. The engineering and product organisation is headquartered in Chennai; delivery and field-services teams operate across India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. In the UAE, SEnergy IoT is delivered in partnership with Emircom; in Qatar, in partnership with Mubadara; and in the Indian healthcare vertical, in partnership with GenWorks.
